What is the difference between photo paper and coverstock? Price and paper thickness. Coverstock costs more than photo paper, and is thicker than photo paper. Your design will look beautiful printed on whatever paper you choose. We proof each order to ensure the color and printing quality you expect from us is excellent.
• Photo paper - We use a professional archival photo paper that is thicker than the photo paper you find at most on-line and big-store photo labs. We use the highest quality printing method available today to ensure your photos look amazing! Printing turnaround is 1 business day (we print photos Monday-Friday).
• Coverstock paper - (see graphic above) The 100# is a common paper used for photo announcements. It is about 1.5x thicker than photo paper. The 100# glossy is about 2x thicker. Printing turnaround for 100# coverstocks is 3 business days. Our 120# coverstock is the thickest paper you'll find anywhere for photo announcements! It's our standard paper and is about 2.5 times thicker than photo paper and has a week printing turnaround after proof approval.

Would you like your envelopes shipped early?

yes no If you ordered coverstock, due to the week printing turnaround, you may want to get your envelopes early to start addressing them. For a $25 deposit ($25 will be credited on your holiday announcement invoice), plus $8.95 shipping to addresses in the US, your envelopes will ship early via USPS 2-3 day priority mail. We will send 2 extra envelopes for every 25 announcements ordered, and will email an invoice with details to you ASAP. If you'd like your envelopes printed with return address printing, we will add the additional charge to your invoice. Fill out the section below and we will print your information with a font in your announcement design.

Would you like colored envelopes to replace the white envelopes included in your order?

White envelopes come with your order. If you'd like your envelopes to stand out from the crowd with colored envelopes instead, they are only $0.15 each. Our colored envelopes also have square flaps. Due to color variances between different reds and greens in the announcement designs, we recommend choosing the natural or green color if you order red announcements, or natural or red if you order green announcements. Get as many as you'd like, and feel free to mix colors.

Shipping Schedule Info

Your holiday announcements will be shipped by U.S Priority Mail shipping. Destinations within the US pay a flat shipping charge of $8.95. Photo paper orders will generally ship 1-2 business days after proof approval; 100# coverstock orders generally ship 3-4 days after proof approval. 120# coverstock orders will generally ship one week after proof approval. Printing cannot be expedited, however, you can upgrade your shipping to 1-2 day USPS guaranteed Express mail for an additional charge. Express mail is recommended for orders ready to ship after 12/5. Expedited shipping option info will be sent with proofs. For international or other rates, please email.

Typically, complete orders will receive email proofs within 2-3 business days. Make sure lisa@chouettedesign.com is on your email approved list so your proof is delivered to your inbox. We create proofs Monday-Friday 10-5 CST, so orders received after 5pm CST will be considered received the next business day at 10am CST.
